Vinson & Elkins advised CENAQ Energy Corp., a special purpose acquisition company focused on energy and energy transition, and CENAQ Sponsor LLC in a business combination with Bluescape Clean Fuels Intermediate Holdings, LLC, a private company specializing in the supply of gasoline derived from renewable feedstocks.

Upon closing, the combined company will be named Verde Clean Fuels, Inc.
