Caitlin represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, other public and private borrowers, agents, lenders and underwriters in commercial lending and other financial transactions, including complex acquisition and leveraged financings. Caitlin’s experience includes syndicated loans, high-yield bond offerings, reserve-based facilities, asset-based facilities, distressed debt, mezzanine facilities, and direct lending.

Experience Highlights

  • Blackstone Infrastructure Partners in the leveraged financing and complex acquisition financing involved in its $3.3 billion acquisition of Tallgrass Energy, a midstream energy infrastructure company

  • Vantage Energy in the $1.65 billion financing of its proposed acquisition of QEP’s Williston Basin assets in North Dakota and Montana 

  • TPG Growth and The Rise Fund in connection with financing their acquisition of CLEAResult

  • TPG Pace Energy Holdings Corp. in connection with financing its acquisition of oil and gas assets within EnerVest’s South Texas Division for approximately $2.66 billion in cash and stock

  • Taco Bueno Restaurants in connection with its prepetition debt sale transaction and subsequent DIP financing

  • Sixth Street Partners in a $400 million secured term loan to Northern Oil and Gas, Inc.

  • Citibank in a $1.26 billion syndicated senior unsecured revolving credit facility to Nabors Industries

  • JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. as agent and lender under reserve-based revolving credit facilities extended to portfolio companies of Natural Gas Partners

  • Magnolia Oil & Gas Operating LLC under their $1 billion reserve-based revolving credit facility and in a $400 million unsecured notes offering 

  • Underwriters to CONSOL Mining Corporation in a $300 million secured notes offering

  • Underwriters to Basic Energy Services, Inc. in a $300 million secured notes offering
