Vinson & Elkins Recognized by Bloomberg Law in Its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Framework

Bloomberg Law announced that Vinson & Elkins has been named once again to its annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Framework, recognizing the firm’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through a rigorous, quantitative methodology.

Law firms are named in the DEI Framework based on their level of disclosure of more than 85 diversity-related metrics and distinguished performance against six core pillars: demographics, leadership and talent pipeline, recruitment and retention, business innovation and strategy, marketing, and diversity and inclusion in the community.

The 2022 DEI Framework report, available here, strives to standardize disclosure of diversity-related data that will help firms like Vinson & Elkins attract and retain top talent, and allow companies to easily compare law firms from a diversity supplier standpoint.

“The desire to incorporate DEI into the selection process for outside legal services presents a new challenge for the industry, but Vinson & Elkins has distinguished itself as a law firm worthy of consideration,” said Joe Breda, President, Bloomberg Law. “Through a demonstrated commitment to DEI, V&E is helping to move the legal industry forward and we recognize their performance by naming them as a member of our 2022 DEI Framework.”
