Sebastian Tiller Appears on “Live at Nasdaq” to Discuss Corporate Governance Trends

CorpGov Editor-at-Large Jarrett Banks hosted a fireside chat on Nov. 17 from the Nasdaq Marketsite with Partner Sebastian Tiller. They discussed the SEC possibly relaxing its quarterly reporting standards and shareholder activism trends, including the use of AI as a tool by activists.

“I think AI will allow activists to analyze vulnerabilities, not just as it relates to financial performance, but also as it relates to governance structures,” Sebastian Tiller told CorpGov. “As an activist, you will probably be able to analyze a range of companies at the same time. That may accelerate and potentially even increase the number of activist campaigns that we see.”

Tiller is Head of the firm’s Strategic Mergers & Acquisitions practice. He represents corporations, private equity firms and financial advisers in multi-billion dollar strategic mergers & acquisitions and corporate governance matters. Tiller has closed high-profile transactions in the financial services, technology, energy and consumer goods industries, among others.
