John Grand Appears on PE in a Pod Podcast Discussing Private Equity Trends

“Traditional energy continues to be hot for private equity funds to look at and invest in,” John Grand told PE in a Pod, hosted by veteran journalist Jonathan Braude, who interviews leaders of the private equity, venture and private capital industries about investment trends.
Private equity firms in particular are looking outside the Permian Basin for investment opportunities, Grand added. “In the last 18 to 24 months, we’ve really seen private equity go to other basins in the United States: Utah, Colorado, Marcellus, the Haynesville, South Texas, the Eagleford, and the Bakken [partly because] there’s less competition from public [companies] to invest.”
