Chesapeake Energy Accelerates Strategic Plan with Acquisition of WildHorse
Vinson & Elkins advised WildHorse Resource Development Corporation in its definitive agreement to be acquired by Chesapeake Energy Corporation in a transaction valued at approximately $3.977 billion.
WildHorse is an oil and gas company with operations in the Eagle Ford Shale and Austin Chalk formations in southeast Texas.
