As the world transitions to a decarbonised energy system, hydrogen has become a clear front-runner as a potential transition and post-carbon fuel source. There has been a surge in interest in hydrogen produced by renewable energy, known as green hydrogen, or produced from traditional fossil fuels but coupled with carbon capture technology, known as blue hydrogen.
