Biography
Robert's practice primarily involves corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and other investment activities in U.S. and international settings. He is a member of V&E's Corporate Governance and Compliance Group.

- Southwest Airlines in its $3.4 billion acquisition of AirTran Airways
- Dell Inc., a leading technology company, in its $3.9 billion public tender offer and acquisition of Perot Systems Corporation, an information technology company
- Santos Ltd., a publicly-traded Australian energy company, in its sale of a 40% stake in an upstream, midstream and LNG project for $2.5 billion to Petronas
Private Equity Management and Fund Formation View All
- Private equity funds, principals, and principal limited partners in private equity fund formations including:
- $650 million global energy fund
- $250 million global clean energy technology fund
Capital Markets
- Investment banks and issuers in over $14 billion of public offerings and private placements of equity and debt, including debt and equity shelf takedowns; underwritten sales by stockholders; debt and equity exchange offers; and IPOs of biotechnology, computer technology, energy, medical products and software companies
