James’ principal areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and general corporate matters. James has assisted in the representation of domestic and international companies, both strategic and private equity investors, in connection with public and private transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions. James has also assisted issuers and underwriters in public offerings of debt and securities. In addition, James has counseled companies in their general securities law compliance and corporate governance efforts.
James has worked with clients across a broad range of industries, including oil & gas (principally in the upstream, midstream, and oilfield services sectors), mining and minerals, including coal, chemical, airlines and airline services.
