V&E Recognized for Pro Bono Excellence by American Gateways
Vinson & Elkins associates Ethan Nutter and Parker Cragg have been recognized among American Gateways’ 2021 Pro Bono Awardees.
The firm was also named Pro Bono Law Firm Awardee for 2021.
American Gateways is a non-profit organization providing legal advocacy for immigrant survivors. Over the years, they have “provided a broad range of immigration legal services to low-income individuals and families” throughout Texas.
Vinson & Elkins attorneys, across offices, have provided over 33,500 hours of pro bono work across more than 400 matters in 2020.
Nutter and Cragg have dedicated countless hours to various matters and are currently working on a complicated Fifth Circuit petition for review for a denial of asylum for an Anglophone Cameroonian. They are among four attorneys recognized for their dedication to pro bono legal service.
