V&E Receives Perfect Score on 2019 Human Rights Campaign Foundation Corporate Equality Index

Vinson & Elkins has received its eighth perfect score of 100 on the Corporate Equality Index, a national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices pertinent to LGBTQ employees administered annually by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

V&E is among 571 companies nationwide that earned a perfect score in the 2019 report and the designation as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”

Employers featured in the report “took concrete steps to ensure greater equity for LGBTQ workers and their families in the form of comprehensive policies, benefits and practices.” Rating criteria includes non-discrimination policies across business entities, equitable benefits for LGBTQ workers and their families, internal education and accountability metrics to promote LGBTQ inclusion competency and public commitment to LGBTQ equality.
