V&E Advises Funds Managed by EIG Global Energy Partners in $375M Purchase of 5-Year Volumetric Production Payments
Vinson & Elkins advised investment funds managed by EIG Global Energy Partners in their purchase of five-year volumetric production payments associated with certain offshore oil and gas properties from an undisclosed seller for a cash purchase price of $375 million. The parties also entered into an arrangement regarding the delivery and marketing of overriding royalty hydrocarbons by the seller. The deal closed on October 18, 2018.
