Vinson & Elkins advised Select Energy Services, Inc. (“Select”), a leading provider of sustainable water and chemical solutions to the U.S. unconventional oil and gas industry, in connection with its role as stalking horse bidder in the chapter 11 cases of Basic Energy Services, Inc. (“Basic”) and with Select’s acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Agua Libre Midstream, LLC (“Agua Libre”) and certain water-related assets and operations of Basic.
