Matlin & Partners Acquisition Corporation and U.S. Well Services Enter Business Combination
Vinson & Elkins advised Crestview Partners in connection with Matlin & Partners Acquisition Corporation’s (MPAC) proposed business combination with U.S. Well Services, LLC (USWS), whereby USWS will combine with MPAC to become a publicly listed company with an anticipated initial total enterprise value of approximately $588 million. Funds managed by Crestview are the lead investors on a $135 million committed PIPE investment in the combined company.
MPAC is a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company, and USWS is a high-quality provider of hydraulic fracturing services and market leader in electric-powered fracturing services and market leader in electric-powered fracturing.
