Lindsey Vaala Named in Who’s Who Legal 2021 Competition Guide
Vinson & Elkins counsel Lindsey Vaala has been named in Who’s Who Legal’s 2021 Competition guide.
Based on the recommendations of clients and private practitioners, the Who’s Who Legal: Competition guide has named Vaala as one of the top three most highly regarded non-partners for competition law in North America.
Vaala is noted by Who’s Who Legal as someone who is distinguished as “an expert in both cartel investigations and follow-on civil class actions.”
An experienced antitrust lawyer, Vaala is a member of the firm’s Global Cartel Defense and Coordination Team and represents companies and individuals in investigations and litigation in the U.S. and abroad. A recognized strength of her practice is the defense of clients in competition-related issues, including multijurisdictional cartel and price-fixing investigations and related civil and class action litigation.
Clients also seek her counsel regarding antitrust compliance and competition risk across a diverse cross-section of industries, including consumer products, defense, financial services, public procurement, technology and transportation. She is well-versed in the nuances of government scrutiny, including in public procurement and contracting, and regarding corporate hiring practices, two areas of heightened antitrust enforcement activity.
Vaala currently co-chairs the ABA Antitrust Section’s Cartel & Criminal Practice Committee.
