Lande Spottswood Recognized Among Houston Business Journal 2018 Women Who Mean Business
Vinson & Elkins partner Lande Spottswood has been selected by Houston Business Journal to receive a 2018 Women Who Mean Business Award in the “Women to Watch” category.
Spottswood is among 12 women named in the category, which honors on the rise Houston-area business women for career achievement, contribution to company and city success, community involvement and leadership.

She focuses on corporate finance and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and general corporate representation, and regularly advises clients on some of the firm’s largest and most complicated transactions.
Among these transactions, Spottswood advised TPG Capital in the $2 billion merger agreement between Univar Inc. and Nexeo Solutions, Inc., Energy Transfer Partners in the $60 billion merger with Energy Transfer Equity in a unit-for-unit exchange and RSP Permian in its $9.5 billion sale to Concho Resources.
