Vinson & Elkins senior associate Jessica Crow has been elected to the board and as executive secretary of the Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners (YCAP).

Launched by a group of young Canadian arbitration practitioners in 2004, YCAP’s mission is to promote interest in and understanding of international arbitration, particularly in Canada, and to provide professional development and networking opportunities for young Canadian practitioners with an interest in international arbitration.  Today, YCAP boasts a membership of more than 200 Canadian arbitration practitioners across five continents and, along with more than thirty other young arbitration practitioner groups around the world, is a member of the Co-Chairs’ Circle (CCC).

Crow takes on the role of secretary from V&E counsel Joseph Chedrawe, who held it for the previous term. Chedrawe now joins YCAP’s Advisory Board.
