AltaGas Ltd. to Acquire WGL Holdings, Inc. for US$6.4B
Vinson and Elkins advised AltaGas Ltd. in its definitive agreement and plan of merger to acquire WGL Holdings, Inc. in an all cash transaction valued at approximately C$8.4 billion (US$6.4 billion).
AltaGas, a Canadian corporation, is a North American diversified energy infrastructure business with a focus on owning and operating assets to provide clean and affordable energy to its customers.
