A Message from V&E Leadership on Racial Justice and Inclusion

While we may not have the perfect words to express how heartbreaking the recent tragic events involving George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and other Black lives have been, Vinson & Elkins recognizes that Black communities, including a number of our colleagues and clients, have been deeply impacted by these events. We believe that these events have shone a light on the systemic societal injustices that must be addressed if we hope to build a society at large that provides equal opportunities for all. We are firm in our conviction that there is no room in our organization or society for racism, discrimination or injustice toward Black people or other persons of color. It is clear that as a firm and as individual members of society, we must do more, and we will use our platform to continue the conversation and assist our communities in the path forward.
