Discussions surrounding climate change have highlighted interlinkages between environmental and human rights law. These discussions have also started to propel the environmental and human rights elements of corporate social responsibility into an emerging, but still amorphous, set of legal rights and obligations around the concept of sustainability. This article examines developments influencing this emerging set of legal obligations and reviews several case studies to explore how these interlinkages manifest themselves in various international contexts.
