At the request of partners George Gerachis, Kathy Pakenham, and Adriana Wirtz, Vinson & Elkins is sponsoring the TEI Annual Conference – 75th Anniversary Celebration at the platinum level. The Annual Conference will feature a comprehensive program with nearly 40 sessions focused on U.S. federal, international, and state & local tax, as well as Canadian tax, financial reporting, and corporate tax management issues.

Kathy Pakenham and Adriana Wirtz are both speaking at the Conference. Adriana is speaking on a panel titled “Increased Audit Scrutiny of Complex Business Arrangements and Partnerships: Trends and Management Strategies” on Monday, October 23rd at 3:45pm. Kathy’s panel is taking place on Wednesday, October 25th at 9:45am and is titled “Positioning Issues for Resolution at IRS Appeals: What Has Changed and Remains the Same.”

In conjunction with the conference, Vinson & Elkins is hosting a cocktail reception on Monday, October 23rd at 7 p.m. at the New York Marriott Marquis.
