33rd Annual ITA Workshop and Annual Meeting
The ITA Workshop and Annual Meeting is typically held in Dallas on the third Thursday in June, and has been held every year since 1989. It is widely recognized as the leading conference in the field in the United States.
Alexander Slade will be participating in a debate titled “Should ‘Double Hatting’ be permitted in Investor State Dispute Settlement.” Alex’s topic will focus on “double-hatting” in ISDS, where an individual may act concurrently or subsequently as counsel and arbitrator in cases raising the same or similar legal issues. The debate is part of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration’s 33rd Annual ITS Workshop and Annual Meeting Conference. Robert Landicho serves as one of the Conference Co-Chairs and will present the welcome remarks to the Young ITA Roundtable this morning.
