  • (D.D.C./AAA/ICDR) — Assisted in representing a global ship manufacturer in both federal court and arbitration proceedings regarding a breach of contract claim involving $2 billion construction contract for warships; on behalf of shipbuilder client, prevented prime contractor from awarding shipbuilding subcontract to client’s competitor, and enabled client to obtain subcontract
  • (N.D. Cal.) — Assisted in defending a major Japanese electronics company and its U.S. subsidiary in two nationwide antitrust class actions and multiple opt-out lawsuits involving allegations of price-fixing in the lithium ion battery industry
  • (N.D. Cal.) — Assisted in representing a non-party, former government official in discovery and attorney’s fee proceedings related to a nationwide products liability class action
  • (Ct. Fed. Cl.) — Currently assisting in representing a health insurer in APA and contract litigation against U.S. Department of Health & Human Services over its failure to make “risk corridor” reimbursement payments mandated by the Affordable Care Act

White Collar Investigations

  • Assisted with a global internal investigation of a foreign company with U.S. operations regarding FCPA and sanctions issues, including potential disclosure to U.S. enforcement authorities
  • Assisted with an internal investigation of a foreign company regarding FCPA and jurisdictional issues, including potential disclosure to U.S. enforcement authorities
  • Assisted in representing a Fortune 500 company in a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission investigation involving allegations of market manipulation
  • Assisted in representing an individual related to a potential criminal antitrust investigation

  • (9th Cir.) — Lead counsel in a prisoner civil rights appeal involving allegations that prison officials retaliated against an inmate for submitting complaints to the prison warden
  • (Ct. Vet. App.) — Lead counsel appealing an adverse veteran’s disability benefits determination to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans claims
