Spartan Energy Acquisition Corp. Closes Initial Public Offering
Vinson & Elkins advised Spartan Energy Acquisition Corp. in connection with its initial public offering of 55,200,000 units at a public offering price of $10.00 per unit, including the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase up to an additional 7,200,000 units.
Spartan Energy Acquisition Corp. is a special purpose
acquisition entity focused on the energy industry in North America and was
formed for the purpose of entering into a merger, amalgamation, capital stock
exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business
combination with one or more businesses.
The V&E corporate team was led by partners
