Law360 Names V&E a 2019 Texas Powerhouse

successes over the past year.

In an interview with Law360,
Jim Thompson, co-head of V&E’s global litigation department, said he was proud
not only of the firm’s results in the past year, but of the diversity of its
litigation practice, citing the firm’s work for Anadarko to revive a Deepwater
Horizon insurance dispute at the Texas Supreme Court and its Fifth Circuit win
for Plains All American in an investor suit stemming from an oil spill.
In addition to multimillion-dollar litigation victories, V&E
is recognized for advising on 73 deals worth approximately $127 billion and
more than 50 stock offerings collectively worth $2.8 billion in 2019.
V&E Chairman Mark Kelly attributes the firm’s success to
a commitment to continually improving. “Everybody, from the time this firm was
