January 13, 2011 — Vinson & Elkins partner Christopher Popov has been elected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation for his outstanding professional achievements and commitment to the improvement of the Texas justice system. Each year, fewer than one-third of one percent of Texas State Bar members are granted admission to this elite group.
Fellows of the Foundation are selected for their outstanding professional achievements and their demonstrated commitment to the improvement of the justice system throughout the state of Texas. Election is a mark of distinction and recognition of contributions to the legal profession.
Chris’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. He has extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in disputes, including intellectual property, Internet media, antitrust, class actions, and other commercial litigation. He has been recognized as a “Texas Rising Star” by Texas Monthly 2005 and 2008 – 2011.
