Pro Bono Service: Meeting the Ethical Obligations of the Practicing Bar and the Law Schools
Friday, November 20, 2009 | Houston, TX South Texas Law Review and Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program present the 16th annual Ethics Symposium. This full-day event brings together legal professionals, educators, and non-profit program directors to discuss a wide range of pro bono topics. The keynote luncheon speech will focus on "Revisiting the Business Case for Law Firm Pro Bono." The program also includes several panel discussions.
V&E's Pro Bono Coordinator, Ellyn Josef is the planning program co-chair and will be giving a speech entitled "Is Bigger Better? The Large Law Firm Approach to Pro Bono." Also, V&E partner Scott Fletcher will be participating in an open panel discussion.
