The Media and Your Law Practice: Obligations, Ethics, and Opportunities — CLE Event

Monday, August 16, 2010 | Houston, TX
The news media's influence on the administration of justice and the practice of law has never been greater. From daily newspapers and evening TV news to Internet-based media outlets and blogs, journalists can completely shape how litigation is viewed by customers, investors and business associates. This CLE addresses the ethical, legal and practical challenges of dealing with the news media. Mark will use his 14 years as the legal affairs writer for two major newspapers (The Dallas Morning News and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution) and his two decades as a senior contributing writer for the ABA Journal to show how lawyers can use the news media to the benefit of their clients and law practice.
