January 27, 2011 — For the fifth consecutive year Vinson & Elkins has been selected as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas by Texas Monthly magazine, the Texas Association of Business, the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and Best Companies Group. V&E ranked number 21 on the large-sized companies list.

The survey and awards program identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places of employment in Texas. V&E is proud to have received this recognition, based highly on employee satisfaction, every year since the program’s inception in 2006.

Vinson & Elkins will be recognized and honored at the Best Companies to Work for in Texas awards ceremony on January 27, 2011, by the Texas Association of Business and Governor Rick Perry. The results will also be featured in the February 2011 issue of Texas Monthly magazine
