Attorney Fee Awards in Patent Litigation — CLE Event

Monday, August 9, 2010 | Houston, TX
This program will offer a survey of current law and practice under 35 U.S.C. Section 285, the "exceptional case" fee-shifting statute applicable to suits under the patent laws. In addition to providing a basic understanding of the goals and history of the statute, the program will focus on the disparate treatment of defendants and plaintiffs seeking fees and consider a recent en banc petition seeking to equalize the standards applied.
