Biography
Roxanne’s principal areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions and general business law. Her practice consists primarily of domestic and international business transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures, financings, and entity formation, generally in the energy industry.
Currently, Roxanne serves as a member of V&E’s Diversity Committee and the Houston Recruiting Committee.

- Assisted with the representation of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. in the financing of a $45 billion acquisition of a significant U.S. integrated utility company with electric power generation, transmission and distribution, and retail sales operations (co-counsel)
- Assisted with the representation of Cobalt International Energy, L.P. in its strategic alliance with another oil and gas exploration and production company to combine their exploratory lease holdings across the Gulf of Mexico
- Assisted with the representation of StatoilHydro ASA in the $235 million sale of a subsidiary engaged in exploration and production activities
