Biography
Floyd's principal area of practice is intellectual property and technology law. He joined the Intellectual Property/Technical Litigation section of Vinson & Elkins as an associate in 2006. His undergraduate focus was bioengineering within the electrical engineering department. Since then, Floyd has expanded his knowledge into the areas of digital signal processing, computer systems, and computer networking through work experience and graduate study.

Floyd has developed experience in conducting depositions and drafting motions in patent litigation cases.  He has also assisted in the presentation of arguments for Markman Hearings and hearings on discovery motions.
