Biography
Tonya is a partner based in the Dallas office. Tonya's practice includes all aspects of restructuring and reorganization work, including the representation of debtors, lenders, creditors, equity investors, landlords, and trustees. She has significant experience in distressed asset acquisitions and divestitures, Chapter 11 plan and disclosure statement formulation and prosecution, secured creditor representation, executory contract and unexpired lease issues, and adversary litigation and trials. Tonya has been named a "Texas Rising Star" in Texas Monthly, and as one of "The Best Lawyers in Dallas Under 40" in business bankruptcy law in D Magazine.

  • Represented companies owning over 81 convenience stores in Chapter 11 reorganization in Tyler, Texas; restructured over $80 million in secured debt
