Biography
Scott’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation. He is a patent litigator with significant experience representing clients in trial courts across the U.S. and in International Trade Commission (ITC) investigations. In Dallas, Scott successfully defended an electronics manufacturer in a $200 million patent infringement jury trial. From California to east Texas to Delaware, he has also represented both plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement cases concerning computer systems, semiconductors, software, business methods, and clean energy. Recently, The Legal 500 U.S. publication noted that clients recommend Scott specifically and that he has been praised as “extraordinary.” Scott speaks regularly to the intellectual property bar and is licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in patent cases.
