Biography
Nitin's principal area of practice is domestic and international business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, project development and general corporate matters. He regularly advises clients in connection with their acquisition, development and disposition of assets and target companies. Nitin has significant experience in both domestic and international energy transactions and projects. Nitin's clients include private and publicly-traded companies, private equity funds and portfolio companies.

- Represented a publicly-traded company in connection with its disposition of an approximately 225 megawatt natural gas cogeneration facility
- Represented a private equity fund in acquiring a controlling interest in an owner and developer of natural gas storage projects and storage-related midstream assets
- Represented a private equity fund in connection with the acquisition of an interest in a state-owned gas transportation company located in Colombia pursuant to a transaction valued at approximately $400 million

- Represented AES Gener S.A. in connection with the development of an approximately 460 megawatt, coal-fired electric generating plant located in Chile, including negotiating and drafting the associated turnkey, engineering, procurement and construction contract
- Represented an independent natural gas and oil company in negotiating and drafting a construction management agreement for the construction of an approximately $1 billion CO2 extraction plant and associated transportation pipelines
- Represented Shell Trading (U.S.) Company in connection with the financing, construction and long-term charter of three U.S.-flag “Jones Act” vessels valued at over $400 million
