Biography
Nicholas joined the Energy Transactions and Projects practice group at Vinson & Elkins in March 2008. His practice focuses on infrastructure development and project finance, acting for project developers, government, and quasi-governmental entities and financiers in a number of jurisdictions.

From March 2006 until March 2008, Nicholas worked in the Banking and Capital Markets team at a Magic Circle firm in Frankfurt, Germany, focusing on emerging market project financing, asset-backed financing transactions, and petrochemical project development. Prior to that, Nicholas worked at an Australian firm, where he worked principally in the firm's Project and Corporate Finance division. His primary experience was in the areas of infrastructure development and public and private sector project finance. Nicholas also served with local lawyers at the Prerana Centre in Hazaribag, India, a not-for-profit social development initiative. His responsibilities included policy drafting and liaising and networking with national and international NGOs and civil groups.
