Biography
Michael’s main area of practice is commercial litigation with an emphasis on securities-related litigation and international dispute resolution. Michael has litigated cases in federal and state courts in New York, Delaware, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.

Commercial and Business Litigation View All
- Assisting with the representation of a hedge fund in state lawsuits for breach of contract and fraud arising out of an asset management agreement
- Assisted in the representation of a national cable channel in a federal lawsuit for breach of contract arising out of an affiliation agreement for the distribution of the channel by a national digital television provider
- Assisted with the representation of the former owner of manufacturing facilities in a state lawsuit for indemnity and a working capital adjustment arising out of the purchase and sale agreement for those facilities
Securities Litigation and Enforcement View All
- Assisting in the representation of a private equity fund in a state lawsuit for breach of contract and fraud arising out of an investment considered by the fund
- Assisted in obtaining a complete dismissal with prejudice of federal securities fraud claims in a purported class action lawsuit against an international construction and engineering services company
- Assisted in obtaining a complete dismissal of an aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty claim in a state lawsuit against a private equity fund arising out of an investment considered by the fund
International Dispute Resolution View All
- Assisting with the representation of an international fashion house in a state lawsuit for breach of contract related to an investment in Tajikistan
- Assisted in obtaining a complete dismissal with prejudice of tortious interference with contract and tortious interference with business relationships claims in a federal lawsuit against an English trading and shipping company arising out of a purported agreement to supply petroleum products to a Mexican company
- Assisted with the representation of a lender in a state lawsuit for breach of contract related to the sale of a Macedonian mining company
