Biography
Mark's practice is focused on the development, operation, and management of power generation and transmission projects, as well as financing, restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions related to such projects. He has also been involved in a number of cross-border projects, including power projects located in Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, Colombia, India, Turkey, and Argentina.
Having been involved in power project work for over twenty years, Mark has developed deep experience in the construction of power generation and transmission projects, as well as power sales, tolling, trading, and marketing arrangements. He has also negotiated joint venture arrangements and a wide range of other project agreements, including transmission and interconnection, steam purchase, fuel supply and transportation, project management, equipment supply, and operation and maintenance agreements.
Mark's clients include utilities, strategic investors, independent power producers, and financial institutions. In addition, he provides legal assistance to clients in connection with the management of existing energy projects and financial work-outs.
