Biography
Lewis is a partner in the firm's London office, whose principal areas of practice are the development and financing of international projects with a particular focus on the energy sector. He also has significant experience in advising on a broad range of other finance transactions, including debt restructurings, acquisition and Islamic financings. He represents sponsors, lenders, governments and private equity investors. Lewis has particular experience advising on renewable and alternative energy projects, as well as conventional power, pipeline, LNG and upstream projects. He also represents clients involved with non-energy infrastructure projects, including roads, airports, satellites and process industries (such as aluminum and steel production).

Additionally, Lewis has substantial experience advising on broader corporate and commercial matters such as major share and asset acquisitions and disposals, corporate restructurings and reorganizations, shareholders agreements and a wide range of commercial contracts. Prior to his return to V&E's London office, Lewis was based in the firm's Abu Dhabi office, where he served as the Managing Partner of the Middle East offices for four years.
