Biography
Chris represents clients on matters that involve a public policy component, with emphasis on federal taxation. Her practice covers all aspects of legislative projects and matters before Executive branch departments and agencies, notably the Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service. Legislative representation includes development and implementation of strategic plans tailored to specific goals, consultation with government officials, drafting and analysis of proposed legislation, organizing coalitions, preparation of testimony, and advice on legislative developments of concern to firm clients. Her practice also includes the development of positions favorable to clients in regulations, rulings, and similar administrative guidance, and work on the resolution of specific tax disputes, both before the Internal Revenue Service on behalf of multinational clients and in preparation for litigation where warranted.
