Darren Tucker focuses on merger and non-merger antitrust investigations in the technology, energy, and pharmaceutical sectors. Darren draws on both his experience as a former Federal Trade Commission attorney and his nearly 20 years in private practice to provide valuable insights to clients regarding competition enforcement and policy issues. He advises clients on a range of pricing and distribution issues; helps clients close mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures worth tens of billions of dollars annually; and works on some of the most hot-button antitrust issues, including multi-sided platform markets, ESG/sustainability issues, and energy transition. Hill Wellford is co-head of the firm’s Antitrust group. Vinson & Elkins is saddened to announce that our beloved colleague Glen Rosenbaum passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 28 at the age of 75.

Marie Yeates is one of the country’s leading appellate lawyers. Over the course of a nearly four-decade-long career at V&E, Marie has presented more than 130 appellate oral arguments in federal and state appellate courts across the country. She has argued dozens of cases in the Texas Supreme Court. A graduate of Louisiana State University School of Law where Marie was first in her class, and admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1980, she has significant experience arguing appeals in Louisiana courts.

Angus is an International Construction Disputes Partner in our London office and heads our Japan practice.
