Biography
Rindala is a partner in Vinson & Elkins' global Corporate Department. Resident in the UAE, Rindala's practice focuses on cross-border and domestic mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, real estate development and asset purchases, as well as a wide variety of corporate transactions. Prior to joining V&E, Rindala was a partner at Latham & Watkins in Dubai and she was the Vice President, Legal of MasterCard in Dubai.

Mergers and Acquisitions View All
- Represented Emirates Securities & Commodities Authority in connection with the merger of Emirates International Bank and National Bank of Dubai
- Represented a major Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-based private equity firm in connection with the acquisition of a 49 percent interest in a Kuwaiti real estate company
- Represented a GCC-based private equity firm in connection with the acquisition of an interest in a Pakistani glass company listed on the Lahore and Karachi stock exchange
Real Estate View All
- Represented a major GCC-based entity in the development and finance of a real estate project in Tunisia involving office towers, residential units, hotels and retail for a total cost of US$14 billion
- Represented a major GCC-based entity in the development and finance of a real estate project in Libya involving office towers, residential units, hotels and retail for a total cost of US$1 billion
- Represented a major GCC-based entity in the development and finance of a real estate project in Lebanon involving a ski resort for a total project cost of approximately US$1 billion
Energy and Power View All
- Represented a major GCC-based entity in connection with the development of an Aluminum Smelter in Abu Dhabi
- Represented a major GCC-based entity in connection with the Masdar Initiative which includes the development of an alternative energy city and a related private equity fund
- Represented a government entity in connection with the development of a 2000 MW power and water plant (IWPP) in Qatar
