Judicial Law Clerks

Experience as a judicial clerk is invaluable for new lawyers. In each starting class, we have lawyers who join us after serving clerkships in federal and state courts across the country. We have former judicial clerks in all of our U.S. offices and across nearly all of our practice groups.

In recognition of the enhanced value of the services that former judicial clerks provide the firm and its clients, V&E pays additional compensation to former judicial clerks and gives appropriate salary and partnership class credit.

We encourage you to explore your interest in judicial clerkships. During the summer program we host judicial clerkship panel presentations in each office and provide access to our online Judicial Clerkship Directory so that you may utilize V&E lawyers as a resource when considering clerkship applications.
