EPA Concludes Fracking Activities Can Impact Drinking Water in U.S.
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”)
released its Final Assessment of the Potential Impacts of Hydraulic Fracturing
for Oil and Gas on Drinking Water Resources on December 13, 2016. The final
report concludes that “hydraulic fracturing activities can impact drinking
water resources in the United States under some circumstances.”
